Gemma & Chris - A beautiful summer wedding

Gemma & Chris were one of the first ever couples that I'd met when starting my wedding photography business, they totally trusted me as a professional photographer, my vision and creativity - for that, I will be forever thankful to them.

Their wedding was at The Horn of Plenty in Tavistock, a beautiful hotel, surrounded by glorious landscapes and gardens. This fantastic wedding venue is definitely one I would recommend, for those who are looking for a venue which is intimate, relaxed and has absolutely everything you could ever wish for in a wedding day.

I was extremely lucky to work alongside some incredible creatives, like Tom Carder Media (videographer), Milli Fleur Florist (florist), Hair by Natasha (hair stylist) & Emma Roberts (MUA) to name a few!

Gemma & Chris had a vision of elegance and romance. The venue was beautifully decorated with white and green florals, Gemma's dress was from St Ives Bridal Boutique, and was just the most beautiful, timeless dress, with a delicate but detailed veil to accompany.

The day started with getting ready in the bridal suite, a beautifully airy, spacious room - (tip, if you're looking for a wedding venue, having a light spacious room is always a must when it comes to photos. Lots of windows and light is key!). After getting ready, it was time to just enjoy the moment, for Gemma to dance around with her girlies and have some down time, and of course we got some super cute bridal party pics in matching PJ's! (see below)

As the weather that day was a little on and off, it was decided that the ceremony would be inside, but that did not disappoint. The room was filled with friends and family as Gemma & Chris shared their handwritten vows.

As the day went on, Gemma and Chris celebrated their beautiful day with speeches, a three course meal, cake cutting and finally one fantastic performance from The Busketeers, a Devon based wedding band.

Everyone partied the night away, and of course I was there, snapping away as shots were flying, everyone was boogying, having the best time of their lives.

At around 11pm, I said goodbye to the wonderful couple, congratulated them, then it was home time for me to enjoy a cup of tea and get their sneak peeks ready!

A big thank you to Gemma & Chris for choosing me to capture their special day.
