A vineyard wedding in the heart of Devon
Ella & Charlie's wedding will most certainly be one of those weddings that will stick around with me for a long time. Their day was insanely beautiful, full of emotion, love, laughter and most importantly, happiness.
I wanted to share their day on my wedding blog because it's a wedding which I just absolutely loved photographing, it felt so them, so true to what they loved and what they are all about. I'm also so obsessed with their final gallery, so it's one that I wanted to share with you all so you could see the day unfold as a whole.
The day started for me at Bridal prep at Ella & Charlie's beautiful home in Honiton, whilst the lovely Catherine Spiller my amazing second shooter for this wedding was with Charlie at his family home in Honiton. Ella, surrounded by her girlies was just beaming with happiness all morning - then when the time came, Mum was on hand to help Ella into her dress.
The day was a little rainy to say the least, it was July! Yes I know, you can't beat the British weather ey? But even though it was raining, it certainly didn't dampen the spirits of everyone waiting to see the beautiful bride. Ella & Charlie were super keen to have their ceremony outside, so they waited until the rain passed and the sun came out, finally to reveal beautiful blue skies for their July wedding at Heron Farm.
After the ceremony, the couple celebrated their day in a marquee built by Heron Farm, where they enjoyed a three course meal and speeches to follow.
After a couple rounds of tequila and cocktails (this was Ella & Charlie's thing!) everyone was in the party mood to dance the night away!
