The Solunah 2024 Collection
In December 2023, I was asked to photograph the Solunah Bridal Collection for 2024 by the lovely owner Hannah. If you haven't seen Hannah's pieces before, you should 100% check them out via her website here.
If you're recently engaged and looking for some wedding dress inspiration, this blog is perfect for you as we will cover some of my favourite pieces from the collection and why.
Solunah Bride offers a wedding dress experience like no other, to have a bespoke creation made for you, or one of her unique designs will be made to fit you perfectly. I. just absolutely adore the process that Hannah has created, from design, to choosing fabrics, patterns, style, all thoughtfully brought together to create one stunning piece.
Hannah has said: "Designing a bespoke dress is how I most often work with brides. Whether you have a creative imagination and can picture your dream dress with clarity or you want to discuss a range of options and figure out what style of dress would be perfect for you. I would love to piece your ideas together and create a tangible version of the dress you will feel your most sparkly self in. "
For this shoot we had an absolute dream team of Devon wedding suppliers:
Dresses: Solunah Bride
Venue: Upton Barn & Walled Gardens
Hair stylist: Hair by Hannah UK
Make up artist: Justine K MUA
Florist: Heathland Flowers
Drapes: Fika Event Hire

Accessories: The Lucky 6pence
Veil designs: Rebecca Anne Designs
Browse some of Hannah's designs below - It's impossibly difficult to choose which design is my favourite because I love them all! But if you're on the search for a unique dress which has the versatility of going from a beautiful wedding gown in the day, to a stylist mini dress for the evening, I would look no further than what Hannah has created in this range. A lot of her new designs, allows for Brides to have that flexibility from just one dress, which honestly, is a life changing idea!
Another one of my favourite aspects around the new range is that some gowns can include detachable sleeves, and my oh my are they absolutely flawless. Example below with the sleeves and bow detailed back, which just oozes elegance and luxury.
The theme around this shoot was to keep it minimalistic, so the gowns/ pieces could speak for themselves. The beautiful limed washed/ concrete walls at Upton Barn made for the most stunning backdrop, then paired with flawless drapes from Fika Event Hire.
I hope future Brides will look at this collection and admire the simplicity and the timelessness and feel somewhat connected to the pieces that Hannah has so beautifully created.
